I think Acer has hit a home run with this Netbook of theirs. Known as the AO751h, this is by far the cheapest 12-inch Netbook I've come across. When I say cheap, it doesn't mean Acer has compromised on quality. The build and finish is top notch (although it feels slightly plasticky) and it has got everything you could want in a Netbook; it's lightweight, has a slim design, good battery life, and a comfortable keypad. But the best part is that it costs lesser than a regular 10-inch Netbook.
The configuration of this one is slightly different as it comes with a slower Atom Z520 CPU that runs at just 1.33GHz. The rest of the specifications remain the same with a 1GB RAM, 160GB hard drive and 6-cell battery capable of delivering eight-hours of battery life. All this sounds great, but I am a little skeptical about the Z520 when it comes to handling complex web animations or 720p movies.
Putting "12 inch" in the subscript when in fact it is a 11.6 incher is misleading. Hell, among netbooks inches matter. 12 inches is closer to 12.1 inches which would disqualify a a device from the netbook tag.
It is a statement of the poor page layout that people can't find the Specs link. And this complaint has been around for a long time. Either TT can't make the change or don't want to
Techtree it's time to grow up! Start giving benchmarks as comparisons because that is how you benchmark. What is up with your PCMark results? Need to compare it with something to make sense. Or is it that you want your readers to go back and check every article that you have posted to find just one bit of information?
Most importantly, learn to use screen space judiciously! You are wasting veritcal space. Just look at any other tech site and then look back at yours. Again look at the PCmark page, for example. One picture?? Just one picture? For heavens sake!
Please learn to write an article instead of posting unexplained pictures with no other content to compare with. That is currently your Achiles' heel. Fix these issues and you are going to become a readable website.
