Back in March, MSI had announced the Wind U110 Eco netbook equipped with an Intel Atom processor and Intel Poulsbo chipset. Now, MSI has brought out a new nine cell battery pack that offers a whooping 15-hour battery life! However, it all depends on how the 'Eco' flavored netbook is being used.

MSI Wind U110 Eco comes with 10-inch LCD display offering 1024x600 pixel resolution. The 1.6GHz Intel Atom Z530 exists with the 160GB HDD, as both remain unchanged. This netbook comes with an option of Windows XP or Vista Home Premium but may not be eligible for Windows 7 upgrade yet.

The major change comes in the battery pack that has been bumped up from a six cell offering nine hours of battery life to a nine cell offering 15 hours of battery life. Newegg already listed this new model for $400 (Rs. 19,200 approx.) and this is a steal for what it has to offer.

I agree i think this is a very reasonably priced and affordable laptop. It also boasts a hd cam (1.3 mega pixels). I think the 9 cell battery life is the most impresse aspect of it. a 10 inch netbook that can last at least 10 hours is a step in the right direction in the netbook front. Kind of sucks its not windows 7 upgradeable but Microsoft is offering Windows 7 for $30 to students with a valid .edu email and proof of course enrollment. Might be a perfect gift for the new school year.
