    Omnia i900 to Get WM 6.5 Update?

It was just on Thursday that we had announced the arrival of the new Samsung Omnia PRO B7330 with a Windows Mobile 6.5 update. Samsung had also announced that it would be updating many other devices in its arsenal to Windows Mobile 6. What was not included in that list was the erstwhile Omnia flagship -- the i900.

So, one curious i900 owner takes the onus and writes to Samsung support (just because he was curious) asking if there would be such an update for the i900 and surprise surprise! He was told that there indeed will be an update for the Omnia i900 and that it will soon be running WinMo 6.5!

The problem here is that the i900 owner happens to be in the Netherlands and we do not know if this update would be country specific. Anyway, in case you're an i900 owner, you've just got another reason to start visiting the Samsung website frequently.

l thought samsung mobiles upgrade i900 omnia windows mobile 6.5 if not ? then samsung mobile not buying by customers

i have owned a lot of cellphones in the past but I must say am impressed with my samsung omnia. great quality phone.

this would e of great help to me because I recently bought the omnia here in kenya and it appears to be somehow slow. But since I am quite conversant with windows applications I feel there is a need for change in omnia i900.
