The Philips Home Theatre that we have for review today is rather simple but features wireless connectivity. As compared to many Home Theater systems from other manufacturers that nowadays come with Blu-ray support, the Philips Home Theatre is just DVD capable. Consumers looking for a not-so-expensive Home Theater set up with Blu-ray may be disappointed with this. However, for many others, who just want a DVD for a Home Theater System the Philips DVD Home Theater System could be a good solution.

Comparing with 'BlueRay' home theater systems makes sense in the reviews because BlueRay has been accepted as next level to DVD. It has already taken off in western countries. What we need in India is spread the info on Blueray so we can transition faster to the newer format.

"Consumers looking for a not-so-expensive Home Theater set up with Blu-ray may be disappointed with this"" Open your eyes Mr Barretto, where can you find BD titles, and even if you find one can you get at a reasonable price.Check the price tag of BD player and DVD player,BD HTB and DVD HTB. As for the TV or Video Monitor is taken into account currently 90% of the market is SDTV and Monitors, and nobody knows for sure how long this BD will exist.Spending another 10 to 20k extra for a BD player is utter foolishness.
