Elitegroup Computer Systems announced new Intel P55 Express chipset based ECS P55H-A Black Series motherboard. Targeted at gamers, ECS P55H-A has Intel LGA Socket 1156 offering support for Intel s new Core i5 and Core i7 processors. Ideal for feature rich gaming system, ECS P55H-A Black Series motherboard has ferrite core chokes and solid capacitors to improve its durability. ECS hasn t revealed details about the pricing and availability of this motherboard yet.
ECS new P55H-A Black Series motherboard has LGA Socket 1156 to support Intel Core i5 and Core i7 processors. This motherboard will support up to 16GB DDR3 RAM over four slots in dual-channel mode and overclockable up to 2130+MHz. With a pair of PCI-Express Gen 2.0 x16 slots, this motherboard offers ATI CrossFireX support for adding up to two video cards.
Meant for gamers, ECS also bundles exclusive overclocking utilities like Motherboard Intelligent BIOS II (MIB II) utility with BIOS tweaking option on single page. Plus, ECS offers Linux Kernel-based eJiffy interface that allows booting the system into eight seconds for the instant-on experience.
