Remember the Sony Ericsson Kiki that made its first appearance a few months ago? Apparently, the phone with the transparent screen is a reality and Sony Ericsson has made the phone official, thanks to this press release.
So, the Sony Ericsson Pureness, as the Kiki would be officially known, is set to be unveiled at a London event soon. According to Sony, the design of the Xperia branded Pureness approaches the mobile phone as a work of art rather than technology. The company s designers aimed to sculpt an object of design that reflected the purity of water and a sense of calmness when not in use. Maybe that explains the transparent screen. The specs of the phone have been kept under wraps for now.
The phone will be officially on sale by November and by the look of it, expect this one to command a hefty price tag. Additionally, this one is an Xperia branded device which seems kinda out of sync with the current and upcoming line-up of Xperia devices which are smartphones.
