Incredibly slim design, excellent build quality, brilliant display, comfortable backlit keyboard, multi-touch trackpad, superb performance for its size
Only one USB port (placed in an inconvenient location), expensive

It has been raining Macs here at the Techtree test labs for the fast couple of weeks. We have already presented the reviews of the Apple Mac Mini and the MacBook, and today we have for you the MacBook Air. Just like its relatives, the Air recently got a shot in the arm with a faster hardware, while retaining the previous price tag that made it of better value. We had reviewed the MacBook Air when it was launched and today we'll have a look at it again.

Although Apple did send us the external SuperDrive for the Air for testing, it is not part of the standard equipment, which is a shame considering its price. The stunning looking SuperDrive - barely thicker than a CD case - is an expensive extra if you intend to use discs with your Air and also occupies the sole USB port on it.
