It was just last week that Nokia had revealed its Booklet 3G to the world. Back then, it promised that it would be showcased at the Nokia World Conference. Well, the conference is underway as we type this and as expected, we now have more details about the Booklet 3G.
Now, to start with, Nokia was right when it said this isn't a netbook. This one isn't even priced like one! The Booklet 3G comes with the standard netbook config that includes a 1.6GHz Atom Z530 processor, a 10.1-inch 1280 720 display, 1GB RAM and 120GB HDD. There's a webcam on then front panel and it's also got an HDMI-out, 3 USB ports and one SD card slot.
This netbook excels in the connectivity option it offers as well. The device is 3G, WiFi, GPRS/EDGE ready and comes with Bluetooth with A-GPS support as well. The netbook 3G will be powered by Windows 7. As for the price, this one's got to be like one of the expensive netbooks out there as Nokia has revealed that this one will cost around 575 Euro (Rs. 40,000 approx.). However, if you live in one of those places where Nokia will have operator tie ups, you should get this one for a cheaper price. That, however, doesn't seem to be a possibility in India. Let's wait and watch.
