The HTC Mega, which we first heard of last month, has made an appearance again. This time, it happens to be a real picture and not a rendering as in the past.

The image shows the Mega running the upcoming Windows Mobile 6.5 OS and not WinMo 6.1. Unlike the Leo, the Mega will be a mid range HTC device and will come with a 2D TouchFlo interface. The HTC Mega comes with a large 2.8-inch display, has HSDPA support with Quad Band connectivity. There is WiFi and GPS thrown in as well along with Bluetooth 2.0.

On the imaging front, there is a decent 3.2 megapixel camera with support for video recording. The 256MB RAM and ROM combination should make the phone zippy to use. A Qualcomm MSM725 CPU clocked at 528Mhz does the number crunching part on this one.

The Mega should be out in the coming months and is expected to be priced at around the $300 mark (Rs. 15,000 approx.).
