As compared to the hype that surrounded the iPhone 3G, the iPhone 3GS has been receiving quite a dull response. Even the long queues we had seen outside Apple Stores abroad during the iPhone launch are missing now. Simply put, the iPhone 3GS isn't really attracting the crowd. Nevertheless, there is a new phone out there and before we can bring you a complete review of the handset that will arrive in India at the end of Aug, we managed to get our hands on one to give you a preview. So here is what we felt about the handset.

Mr. Reviewer I wonder how techie are you ? Your review was plain and simple, like a cut, copy paste operation, mostly your review was inaccurate and dull. I'm using the iphone 3gs for over 2 months now and being a heavy user i charge my phone battery once every two days. The 3gs is exception with application load times, internet browsing and most of all, the ringtone has come a long way being more audible. There is soooooo much more the 3gs can offer, but i guess u need to have the aptitude to first assimilate then reciprocate...

Its not 800MHZ. Its 600MHZ. Please correct that. Make a good review before writing anything on the web.

Such a useless review. Dude what's he matter with you? Do you know how to do a review or are you filling in for someone? The battery perfomance is better on the 3gs. I am using one and it's better than most other phones I have used. anyone who wants to read detailed and "good" review head to anandtech. Com

Your review is pathetic. You seriously don't know what you're talking about. Iphone 3gs had been a much bigger success than 3g.. Apart from that you are totally confused about whats part of the 3.0 OS and what part of 3gs. What a waste of time reading your article.

"I didn't really get" Above sentence is prominent through out the article, do u really call it hand on experience. I think u guys requires some serious introspection.

I finished my SSC and HSC from Mumbai board,I.know how to fill up answer sheet by making thick margins to the left and right and putting in useless diagrams and filling up pages. Would i too get a job in Techtree ?

Is there an upgrade path with Airtel/Vodafone? Can you get the 3GS for a lower price if you return your old iPhone 3G?

your intro was inaccurate. the 3GS in fact sold exceptionally well the first month. a million the first weekend. there were lines at Apple stores, just not long lines like before because the web store purchases/delivery and home activation options were much improved. many stores were often sold out of the most popular models. your discussion left out the companion 3.0 OS new features. true, they also work mostly on older iPhones too. but of course you get the whole package with a new phone. for existing iPhone owners, there is a choice to make whether to upgrade to a 3GS. but for new buyers considering other phones too, the combination of course is whole story.

That the form factor didn’t change is actually a good thing from a practical standpoint. It eliminates accessory incompatibility.
