Nokia is apparently filing C Series and X Series patents that are expected to be brand/line up of handsets just like its existing N Series and E Series lineup. As most of the people know, Nokia offers N Series handsets that mostly focus on entertainment features and E-series that stands business class (Enterprise) phones.

According to a Finnish site Puhelinvertailu.com, Nokia has applied for patent of C Series brand at the Finnish Patents and Trademarks office. This patent was filed on April 14. We do not know what C Series stands for since the N Series and E series aren't usually named after the words starting from the same letter like - N comes from eNtertainment.

On April 15, Nokia filed another patent for X Series brand with the Finnish Patents and Trademarks office. As the name sounds similar to XpressMusic music phones, we think it's going to define the whole XpressMusic series lineup.

So far, no one but Nokia has clear information on either of the series but hopefully, some words will come out at the Nokia World 2009 event, which is supposed to be held in September.
