Unleash hell and go on a killing spree

Amazing action gameplay, shape-shifting powers are fun, a large arsenal of abilities

Consuming vital targets helps him infiltrate key locations as he can mask himself and go around, uninterrupted. Consuming enemies is also a great way of regaining health, especially during big battles. There are times when you will feel that Alex cannot be stopped, but a bunch of enemy units known as Hunters are just as competent as Alex. Hunters add some depth and challenge to the game. The military can also overpower you when they attack with tanks, choppers and RPGs. Overall the combat is really satisfying and enjoyable, especially once you unlock the Devastator powers. These are visually impressive abilites that can clear an entire area with one attack.

If you are an action junkie, believe me there is no better game than Prototype to unleash hell and go on a killing spree. The plot is boring, the city looks really dull and drab and the AI can act really dumb. Overall the visuals and presentation are very standard and don't break any new ground. The citizen models are crappy and the dismemberment effects are a blast from the past. The good news is that the game will work on most standard PCs and offer a good frame rate.

This is a must-have single player experience, only if you want to experience unparalleled power without any engaging plot or long-lasting appeal. If this was a FPS it would be Serious Sam, and most people love Serious Sam. So make your choice.
