Samsung MARINE: Rugged Waterproof Phone

There are many manufacturers who are focusing on making a new gen of smart phones that are water proof. But still they deal with splashes of water. No one has come up with a solution for a worst situation. Liquipel has made a coating that can be used for any cell phone to keep it safe even it is dipped down it water for a a little or long time. I purchased it because of its unique features. I love durable and tough devices. Though I not much impressed with its camera resolution.

Its gud ............ it hav gud sound clarity than i expected.........it looks gud........... it hav some drawbacks such as no universal jack for headphone ........... it hav jack in the side so that it feels un comfortable to put in pockets when headphones are jacked in .

how do i remove the mobile prayer application as i am an atheist and don't believe in a higher power. i am insulted that work have given me this phone with this installed. i am not against people having their beliefs put don't want this on my phone as i find it insulting

SAMSUNG MARINE MOBILES REPLACEMENT WARRANTY IS ALL FAKE....MY KEYPAD STOPPED FUNCTIONING WITHIN TWO DAYS OF PURCHASE....SENT IT TO THE SERVICE CENTER...WAITED FOR 2 MONTHS WITHOUT ANY RESPONSE DESPITE FREQUENT CALLS...THEN GOT MY OLD SET BACK WITHOUT GETTING IT REPAIRED OR REPLACED....THEY ARE TELLING STOCK IS NOT THERE AND MOBILE VERSION HAVE BEEN STOPPED...SCREW SAMSUNG INDIA

Nice phone,can be handled easily, has good grip and battery back up.what else u need?

I think is very good phone in present condition which is can be used in rainy season because more persons face so many problems to save their phones from rain and water

there's a feature called reject list....once u add no to it....the phone reject the call...after that what ? if we want to remove the certain no's from list - how it can be done....

Very Bad. Handset automatically get switched off after 1 hour of Full Charging. Worst Battery Backup

Bought one 3-4 weeks ago. Here are my comments : Since every one wants price first - Rs 4450 at Mobile Store in Shoppers Stop Strengths : 1] Lot of features – some nifty ones like a] Time of day when you want the keypad light to come on b] Flexible alarm settings c] When making a call, numbers appear at the bottom of the screen as you type so that you can select 2] Pressing any button switches on the backlight – very useful since you do not have to unlock first. 3] Brilliant torch 4] The voice quality is generally good Could do better : 1] Biggest design flaw : The charging and hands-free/FM radio port are the same. So either you charge or you use hands-free/radio – you cant do both. Effectively, cant use it for long calls using hands-free and simultaneously charge it 2] Battery life seems highly over-stated in the specs – I used it once with the hand-free for a few minutes and the battery just ran down to a bar from four bars 3] Since this is meant for rugged use, a fluorescent border would have really helped 4] Ok camera – if you want to take good quality pictures, buy a proper camera  5] Using Tasks in the organizer is cumbersome for one-time reminders – better to set an alarm 6] FM radio reception ok 7] Very sketchy manual – I have found a lot of the features just through trial and error Hope this helps.

This is a high radiation phone in my experience. This is specifically deisgned for fisher man and night riders. I don't prefer to buy it.

the worst phone.. i bought it one month ago in 4500rs.. but it hanges a lot while masseging nd very worst one.. only looks fine.. bt not have so gud features.. i sold it in 3800

if only it includes AM radio . its is called explorer here in the philppines. if you are out exploring, AM which usually means news is more useful than FM which means music and gossip. throw away the mic and camera and add AM radio without external antenna . I might get 1.

Excellent quality,robust,good grip,unaffected by sweat and great for those working at dusty sites.I simply love it !!

Sound quality is not same as in other phones. After using it for 4 days I realized that sound (during calls) was piercing in my ear. I written it back citing as fault and tried 3 other pieces. Same Problem. I returned it back. Everything else was good and I really sad due to sound fault. I read its review in a UK site. It clearly says that sound is bit of a problem in this phone.

I have purchased new i am very much satisfied with performance. To check the water resistant quality i hold my phone under watertap.

Now it is priced at 5,288/- in UniverCell stores. I hope the prices go down further!

This is one of the Phones for a User who is kinda fed Up with his Nokia 1600 or 2600. Its just Ideal. Considering the Price i guess its a tad expensive. But it sure is a Good Buy!

why is "memory card under battery" has been listed as a con? What do you expect from a phone that is waterproof. It's the best way to save your card and data. A battery if soaked can be replaced, but can you replace data? It's the most logical placement I would say.
