To compete in the raging megapixel war Sony Ericsson unleashed the C905, an 8MP CyberShot phone. I must say it is a good phone except for its pricing and a few dull features on the multimedia front. The Walkman was Sony Ericsson's answer to the poor multimedia on the C905, and now we have a combination of the Walkman and the C905 in the W995. The Sony Ericsson W995 boasts of 8MP optics, but how does it compare to its CyberShot counterpart, and does it fill in the void created by the C905? Let's find out.

i so wish I could post some pics of my 2 months old phone; unfortunately there aint any option here. Not to forget the phone software had to be changes within a month, moreover even the new software is not working fine. Shelling out quarter of a lakh for this fone is a RIP OFF!!

This is the worst model i have ever used!! Pathetic quality of finishes on the phone. Its been 2 months and all the finishes have given up!!

I got another negative to report regarding this phone, its got just a 2.6 inch screen and supports QVGA resolution. Well hasn't it got an 8 MP camera for crying out loud?

Hi Ankit, we will be having a proper comparison of 8MP camera phones. If your are keen on just the camera that article will sure help you out. But on a general note the W995 is the better of the two (N86 & W995)
