Electronic Arts has announced Command & Conquer 4, a sequel to Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars. This fourth installment will be the final in the Tiberium series and will ship in 2010. The 15-year old legacy of Tiberium will finally be concluded with Command & Conquer 4.
Set in the year 2062, Command & Conquer 4 features new class-based gameplay, mobile bases and persistent player progression throughout all game modes. The game's story continues after the events of Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars. Humanity is on the verge of extinction and two opposing factions have to stop Tiberium from extinguishing mankind. The Global Defense Initiative and Brotherhood of Nod are the two factions from which Nod's leader Kane takes off for GDI head quarters. To know what happens next, you got to wait for the game to arrive.
The GDI and Nod play have two campaigns to end their epic battle. Players need to conquer alone or in co-op mode. This game also features 5v5 objective-based multiplayer mode. This multiplayer mode promotes teamwork, co-operation and real time strategy experience.
Command & Conquer 4 is under development at EA Los Angeles and will start shipping in 2010 for the PC. For more information about the game, visit www.commandandconquer.com or follow the community and development team on Twitter.
EA SUCKS! Why they must end this epic series!? Did they think that we're satisfied with the overgaudy Red Alert and the crappy Generals?! So far, the Tiberium series is the most enjoyable and serious out of the three. Oh! I really hopes to see Nod and GDI's space battleships! DAMN EA!
