Uncharted 2 was the most appreciated game at E3 this year and for good reason. The game was a show-stopper, with an impressive on-stage display of great level design and high production values. We at Techtree strongly believe that this game has great potential, so we list five reasons why UC2 will rule.

5) Superior Visuals

Every sequel looks better than the original,  but UC2 is much more than a visual upgrade. The first game was one of the best looking games on the PS3, and as per Naughty Dog, they were not utilizing the PS3 to its fullest. The gameplay videos and cut-scenes show off some of the best animations ever witnessed in video gaming. Everything from facial animation to character movements look realistic, with the best voice over work till date. If you find our claims too tall to believe, we advise you take a look at the video below. Developer Naughty Dog were always keen on providing gamers with a movie like experience, and from the looks of it, UC2 is up for the job.

4) A Kick-ass Combat System

UC2 picks up on the last game and adds much more. The developers have promised better melee combat, smarter AI and as apparent from the next video, the level design is much better. The enemy is harder to kill, as they are better at taking cover and attacking in groups. Further analysis of the gameplay video also brings to notice Nathan's ability to pick up a table and use it as cover. The developers have confirmed that Nathan will be able to use some pieces of furniture as cover. The last part of the video is truly amazing, when the entire building comes crumbling down and Nathan is still busy fighting, take a look.

3) Chloe Frazer

A new addition to the Uncharted Family, Chloe Frazer is a treasure hunter, who had a past relationship with Nathan. She is smart and sexy and will be accompanying Nathan on his current quests. Chloe will most certainly add a bit of glamour to the game, especially since Nathan's leading lady from the last game, Elena is also present in the game.

2) Multiplayer

Uncharted is a must-have single-player experience, but the new multiplayer mode just makes it better. We got our hands on it and enjoyed every bit of it, especially the co-op play. The competitive multiplayer features some standard game modes but with an Uncharted touch to them, making them all the more fun.

1) Nathan Drake

He is by far one of the coolest gaming characters as he is witty, adventurous and loads of fun. Naughty Dog has created a great hero in Nathan, even though he was long called "Dude Raider", Nathan now stands out as an original action hero. The game revolves around him and his adventures, his messed up relationships and his funny comments. Nathan Drake is most certainly the most entertaining hero in the console race, and one of the biggest reasons we look forward to Uncharted 2.
