    BenQ E2400HD: 24-inch LCD Monitor

Roydon Cerejo, Jul 09, 2009 1350 hrs IST

Sports a 16:9 aspect ratio and a full HD screen

16:9 aspect ratio, HDMI, fast switching between inputs, headphone jack, good build

Colors are not vivid, color banding issue, dark scenes have lot of noise

A little late but it's finally here, the BenQ E2400HD is the 24-inch version of the E2200HD that we reviewed back in December. The features are pretty much the same; the E2400HD sports a 16:9 aspect ratio and a full HD screen with a resolution of 1920x1080. You can now enjoy your HD movies without any black borders.

The E2400HD still features the same number of inputs as its younger sibling, including a HDMI input for consoles and DVD players. The earlier model was the cheapest full HD monitor with HDMI, but the color reproduction wasn't that great, and so didn't make a very good buy in spite of being cheap. Let's see if things are better this time around.

ViewSonic VX2433WM is NOW available at RS:16,000/-. SO AT SAME COST VIEWSONIC IS LOT BETTER BUY THAN BENQ.
