Blends news, images, blog, video and product search results into one page

Google will now offer optimized results for the mobile device. Back in December, Google did a similar exercise with optimized search pages for the iPhone and Android powered phones.

In a blog post announcing these updates, Google has said that the new search format is accessible in over 60 countries across a variety of phone models. These updates are also optimized for normal, feature phones and not just the usual suspects, smartphones. For once, normal phone users will not feel "left behind".

As for the changes, users will now be able to see News, Images, Blog, Video and Product Search results blended right into one result page. Local listings for restaurants in nearby locations too find their way in. You can also call directly from right within the browser with easy-to-select phone number links.
