Ovi Suite, Nokia's version of a one-stop interface for your phone and computer has just graduated to version 2.0. While it is still some time away from being the tool capable of handling everything under the sun, its still seems to be one capable piece of software.

The Ovi Suite will eventually replace the likes of the PC Suite and the Nokia Software Updater, which currently are separate applications for synchronizing your phone and updating it. Ovi Suite will also help you sign in to the Ovi Services page and access various services like browsing applications and purchasing applications from the recently launched Ovi Store.

The Ovi Suite was developed from the ground up using Nokia Qt Software, the cross platform developing application and UI framework. The latest Ovi Suite can be downloaded from the Beta Labs page here. The softwate is only for Windows as of now.

Quite good in terms of features but absolute resource hogger and unstable. On Windows Vista, it's eating up memory of about 250MB almost and crashing every alternate time I connect a phone. Anyone has checked this on windows XP ?

Maybe you should also mention that this is a Beta version in the title as well? From the first look, it felt that you were announcing the final version is out, which is quite misleading.
