Pandemonium, the age-old saga of Nikki and Fargus featured first on the PlayStation and has now arrived on Nokia's N-Gage platform. This game file includes 19MB of download and the installation file bumps it to 20MB. Boasted as the hilarious saga of the duo, both Nikki the sorceress and Fargus the jester have unique powers. Nikki can perform a double jump, while Fargus can do a cartwheel to knock off enemies.
Pandemonium's game play seems a mix of Mario and Sonic sagas. At the start of the game you have to choose between Nikki and Fargus as the main character. The game has two modes where the player can start off with a new game or select 'Go to World' - Skull Fortress. The player gets three hearts, which is lost every time the player is hit by the enemy. A player can enjoy a maximum three lives.

You start-off the journey by collecting treasure coins that are available in three colors - green, red and purple.
The buttons can be configured from Options> Game Controls. For traveling directions, use 4 or left to go left, 6 or right to go right, 2 or up for going up and 8 or down to go down. For actions, press 0 to fire, 9 to attack and # to zoom. Playing this game in landscape mode would a bit uncomfortable, since the controls will now shift to one side of the phone. But using it on the Nokia N85 phone was a bliss.
Score points by collecting green (1 point), red (5 points) and purple (25 points) coins. Collect all purple to gain more points.
Pandemonium is packed with several levels which you can conquer by eliminating your enemies. But yeah, the hidden treasures and secret paths leading to the treasure - the purple coins - will surely take you through many detours.
In terms of graphics, the game is placed somewhere between 2D and 3D experience. Though the game offers option to see the visuals in sleek or funky mode, the game just falls short of expectation in terms of looks. The intro video has loud sound with nice animation but the pixilation kills the fun. Also, there are hardly any sound effects in the game.
Pandemonium is a good game for those seeking a bit of adventure on the mobile. In case you think you haven't scored enough, this game surely has replay value.
