Activision's recently released game Prototype for PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 platforms suffers from installation issues on PS3. Few PS3 owning folks, who recently purchased Activision's Prototype game, faced installation issues. Team Prototype acknowledged the glitch and came up with quick fix at the Activision forums. Also, a patch will soon be released on PlayStation Network.

An error stating 'insufficient hard drive space' shows up even if enough space to install the game was available. Those who face the same issue on installation can follow the below fix provided by Team Prototype to complete installation successfully.

Prototype and inFamous compete with each other since both are slotted in open-world sandbox genre and have super powered antiheroes. However, both games have distinguished features.

Quick Fix for Prototype's PS3 installation issue:
For the 'insufficient hard drive space' issue, change the available hard drive space by 700MB.

- Installing or uninstalling another PS3 game that allows hard drive installation.
- Downloading game demos.
- Removing downloadable content.
- Adding/removing MP3's or movies from the hard drive.

Any of the above tricks should hopefully allow Prototype installation on PS3. Stay tuned to the PlayStation Network for the upcoming patch.

WE only had to remove 13 MB to kick the game into working.
