There's something about those panels in Samsung's Series 6 televisions that make it so desirous. These panels even make a regular video look extraordinary. The last L6 we reviewed Samsung LA46A650A1 blew us away with its picture quality and it became a benchmark to which all TV's have been compared to from then on. The only niggle was its size, as it was on the bulkier side and the weight didn't make things easy while installing it, not to mention that it consumed a lot of power.
So, in order to make the TV slim and reduce power consumption, Samsung has introduced LED backlighting. Yes, the traditional CCFL backlight has now been replaced with LED lighting, which has a more complex circuitry but requires less space and power. So essentially you end up with a much slimmer and lighter TV that consumes less power as well.
more information with regard to specification and type of panel tech and 3D TV tech must be mention in this article. I as acustomer i look for information about the IPS panel and FPR technology but here a cont plank information helps none.
Today with similar features sets and almost certainly competitive pricing making hard to make differentiation. In the case of the above remote is it a magic remote (point and click to select on-screen option) like that of the LG LW6500 LED TV.
