    Acer's New Aspire Laptops that Consume Less Power

Acer has launched a new series of notebooks called the "Timeline series" based on the Intel Ultra-Low Voltage (ULV) ULV platform in India.

The new notebooks launched are Aspire 3810 T, Aspire 4810 T and Aspire 5810 T. The new Ultra-Low Voltage Intel Core 2 solo processor enables thinner designs with longer battery life. Aspire Timeline notebooks consume up 66 percent less than required by Energy Star standards, the company said.

The Aspire Timeline series is available in three form factors, 13.3", 14" and 15.6", with better readability in low-light condition through Acer CineCrystal LED backlit display with 16:9 aspect ratio and 1366X768 HD resolution. Also, the Aspire Timeline series is equipped with Dolby Sound Room that offers a quality surround sound from any pair of speakers or headphones.

Here are the specifications of the new notebooks:

Aspire 3810 T
-Intel Core2 Solo processor SU3500 (supporting Intel 64 architecture - Low Power -Consumption)
-2 GB
-250GB HDD
-13.3" HD 1366 x 768 pixel resolution, high-brightness
-Bluetooth
-Vista Home premium

The Aspire 3810 T is available for Rs. 39,999 plus taxes.



Aspire 4810 T
-Intel Core2 Solo processor SU3500 (supporting Intel 64 architecture - Low Power Consumption)
-2 GB
-250GB HDD
-14" HD 1366 x 768 pixel resolution, high-brightness
-Bluetooth
-Vista Home premium

  The Aspire 4810 T is priced at Rs. 42,999 plus taxes.




Aspire 5810 T
-Intel Core2 Solo processor SU3500 (supporting Intel 64 architecture - Low Power Consumption)
-3 GB
-320 GB HDD
-15.6" HD 1366 x 768 pixel resolution, high-brightness
-Bluetooth
-Vista Home premium

  The Aspire 5810 T costs Rs. 44,999 plus taxes.       

All three notebooks have multi-gesture touchpad pointing device supporting circular-motion scrolling, pinch-action zoom and page flip.
