Sony Ericsson's much seen, but rarely used (in India) feature, PlayNow has officially made its Indian debut.
The one click content service from Sony Ericsson will allow users unlimited access to music tracks, games, themes and animations from major record companies around the world and premier developers globally directly from your Sony Ericsson phone. The PlayNow option comes embedded in most Sony Ericsson phones (more than 70 of them) and accessing content is quite easy with the one touch buttons to launch the service provided in many devices.
PlayNow, as mentioned earlier, also has a collection of mobile games. These include popular titles like Need For Speed, Harry Potter, FIFA and SIMS. Bollywood tracks and wallpapers too are available. All content has been priced in the Rs.9 to Rs.99 range and with Sony Ericsson having tied up with major Indian GSM networks, billing is taken care of by the operator and does not involve the use of credit card payments.
