Adobe adds Presentations tool to its existing Buzzword and ConnectNow services
Adobe has announced a new Acrobat.com Presentation service that enables creating presentations online in collaboration with other folks. Currently in beta stage from Adobe Labs, the services can be used for free after signing up. This service joins Adobe's existing collaborative online tools like Adobe Buzzword and Adobe ConnectNow.
Anyone can sign up (go here to register) and create professional-looking presentations with the help of tools being offered. In fact, a team of creative professionals or individuals can work together to create or edit the same presentation online simultaneously.
This online application offers pre-defined colour sets, image replacement and graphic tools for making diagram or adding effects. The built-in tools also allow adding visual effects, slide transitions and even embedding FLV videos (not more than 10MB) that can be played online - thanks to Adobe Flash Player.
If there was a support for adding Microsoft PowerPoint presentations and also creating graphs and charts, it would've been nice. The Adobe Labs team is working to bring these features to the Presentations tool.
Creating presentations easily and anywhere over the web will now be jiffy activity.
