    GA-EP45-UD3P certified as Windows 7 capable by Microsoft

Gigabyte said that its Intelp45-based motherboard -- the GA-EP45-UD3P has been certified as Windows 7 capable by Microsoft.

According to Gigabyte, the GA-EP45-UD3P went through a "rigorous evaluation and testing process" before obtaining the Windows 7 compatible logo. According to the company, the certification ensures that the GA-EP45-UD3P motherboard will deliver the best possible Windows 7 experience. The certification is provided by the Windows Hardware Quality Lab (WHQL).

The GA-EP45-UD3P also includes Gigabyte's Ultra Durable 3 technology -- which contains 2 ounces of copper for both - the power and ground layers. Gigabyte claims that this will result in lower system temperatures, improved energy efficiency and better stability for those who overclock their processors.

i think all mobos of intel are compatible with windows 7 , getting a certification do matter ?????
