If you don't feel like going out to a cinema hall this weekend, here's an option that allows you to enjoy movies at home.
Apacer has launched its AL350 digital media player which plugs in your television to enable you to watch movies, photos or music files stored in any USB storage device such as a USB flash drive or a portable hard drive. It measures 130(W) x 24(H) x 84(D) mm and weighs 124g.
In addition to this, it also features HDMI (High-Definition Multimedia Interface) which allows you to play digital audio and video content simultaneously with a HDMI cable. AL350 can also upscale video resolution to 1080i/720p, giving users a good picture quality. AL350 supports a variety file formats; movies in AVI, MPEG1/2 and Xvid formats and various music files can all be played through AL350 on television screens.
The AL350 features a black aluminum plate and is pretty compact. The player supports on-screen display (OSD) in 13 languages. It also provides RCA and SCART connections, the latter a popular standard in Europe. This ensures the device's compatibility with all types of televisions. The device also supports Coaxial Audio output, providing users with a better sound quality, says the company.
