Acer's first attempt at a Netbook was a runaway success attracting buyers across segments, be it business users, college students or even housewives. It was small portable and easy to operate, but more importantly, it was cheap.
Today we have an updated version of the Aspire One which goes by the same name but now sports a wider 10.1-inch screen, more storage space and a bigger battery with a stylish new design. Being a Netbook, we are tied down to the same basic specification- Intel Atom N270 (1.6 GHz) 1GB RAM and no optical drive, so there's nothing new here that we haven't already seen.
old thoughts get older by time....... with usbs and internet... there is no need for optical drive....... and also in a portable computer..... u dont need a optical drive.....
Buddy, you have to think out of the box. This is a net book. The purpose is totally different. You use netbooks while travelling and for net browsing and sending and receiving emails and doing your day to day office tasks.
