Lacks 3G, will run OS 5.0
It was in late March that we first heard of the BlackBerry Curve 8325 Gemini. Fast forward to May and we have another "Gemini" in the form of the Curve 8250.
Last time around, when blurred images of the 8325 were seen, we had assumed it had completely ditched the famed BlackBerry trackball and was replaced by an "oh so common" navigation pad. However, what we now know is that these newer BlackBerrys will sport what is known as the "optical Trackball" a navigation tool akin to the touchpad on existing laptops. That seems to have set pulses racing for the folks at CrackBerry, who first came across the live pictures of the device.
As for the Gemini, what we can infer from the images is that this one is definitely going to be "Curve" branded, lacks 3G and will run OS 5.0 when it's launched. The picture, however, show it with OS 4.6.1. The phone also features dedicated media buttons on the top and has a rubberized body. There is no flash on the camera, which will be most likely be a 2-megapixel one.
