Ever since Palm first took the covers off its its droolworthy Pre a few months ago, we were eager to see how the OS looks like, deep inside the menus and sub menus.
An anonymous source at Pre Talk, a community dedicated for Pre users (future) and lovers, has managed to post the never seen before images of the Pre's WebOS interface at work.
Droolworthy or not, it's up to you to decide. The images show the Preferences option and the sub menus under it. Google Maps can be clearly seen. A screenshot of the Phone application can be seen as well. While there is still an "iPhonish" touch to the menus, Palm seems to have done a decent job of designing an UI that is sure to give the likes of the iPhone and the upcoming Windows Mobile 7 a serious run for their money.
You might want to check out the gallery at Pre Talk, which has quite a few screenshots for your viewing pleasure. We still have some time before the Pre is officially released and these pictures will only add to the excitement of the upcoming launch of the device. Too bad it's only coming to the U.S. as of now.
