Dell has unveiled the new Vostro A90 business-oriented laptop in markets outside Japan.
An ultra-compact business version of the consumer-oriented Inspiron Mini 9, the Vostro A90 can be termed a business netbook - making it probably the first one of its kind in the market.
The base version of the A90 comes with an 8.9-inch display, 512MB RAM, and a measly 8GB SSD. Upgrades to 1GB RAM and a 16GB SSD is available too. Currently, Windows XP is the only Operating System option. The processor is the same N270, the 1.6GHz Atom found in the Mini 9, along with the 945GE chipset.
Connectivity options include WiFi, Bluetooth, and Ethernet. The entry-level version of the A90 is priced at $350 in the US. If opting for the SSD and the RAM upgrade, you will have to dole out $424 for the product.
