Sony Ericsson seems to be on a roll today with the announcement of yet another device today. Earlier in the day Sony Ericsson had announced the W205.
The S312 is a funky-looking phone clearly aimed at hip teenagers. It boasts of features like dedicated video camera key, 2-megapixel camera and photo fix. The camera supports 2.5x of digital zoom and Pictbridge printing. The media player carries the PlayNow and TrackID functions with Stereo Bluetooth. The phone is compact and lightweight, tipping the scales at 80gms. Internal memory is 15MB, which can of course be expanded with Memory Stick Micro (M2) cards.
The screen is a 2-inch 262k, 176x220 pixel one and is scratch resistant as well. There is no 3G version and users will have to be content with EGPRS with this one. The supported networks are: GSM/GPRS/EDGE/900/1800. The phone at the time of launch will be available in two colors; Stellar Silver and Argentum Black
The phone will be available this quarter. Price related information has not yet been revealed.
