Facebook has had enough of the whining and all the synonyms attached to the word whining -- as a result of which, the developers of the popular social networking website have decided to give the users just what they want.

And what do the users want?

You might want to ask that question to yourself - nevertheless, the answer to that question would be the good old Facebook!

The Facebook folks have finally succumbed to the badmouthing, by Facebook members and non-members alike, regarding how heartbroken/cheated/livid they've been feeling ever since the Twitterish Facebook came into being.

Therefore, beginning today Facebook users will have an option to pay a yearly sum of $24.99 and get back their favorite Facebook.

The following variants of Facebook will be available:

1.    Classic
2.    Standard


The Classic Version refers to the original Facebook, while the Standard version is the one in between the newest and the oldest Facebook versions.




Both versions will cost $24.99 each respectively. Users will be able to migrate to the newest version anytime free of cost, while shifting to Standard or Classic version will require payment of $24.99 again.

It'll be interesting.. I actually like the new version and I am not concerned one way or the other.. I think you shouldn't complain when you get something FREE! Perhaps someone knows the system can copy it and drive traffic to their version of FB... Perhaps with better improvements and no cost to the user being that advertising may be the sole income... In some ways I am moving more to using twitter and less and less of FB.. so It won't be much of a loss to me.

I think its an april fool joke too... What kind of an upgrade is made so that people pay for the older version... :-) ...
