LG like Samsung seems to be on a handset-launching spree and has announced its latest offering for the affordable phone market, the GB 210.
That's correct. We are talking about the entry of one more affordable phone into the crowded segment. According to Unwired View, the phone will be made available in Ukraine and will soon be available worldwide. The phone looks like just another run of the mill candy bar but is quite a decent looker. It features a 1.77-inch TFT display supporting a decent resolution of 128x160 pixels. The dual band GSM device has no EDGE support. And 3G at this price range would be asking for too much. It has decent multimedia capabilities with support for a plethora of media files.
For listening to your music, it sports a decent loudspeaker as well. The device comes with 4MB of internal memory and the capacity can be expanded with the help of the Micro SD slot present on the phone. The phone will be available starting May and is expected to be priced in the $120 (Rs. 6,000) range.
