    Samsung's New Music Phones Spotted

This might be getting a tad monotonous, but there are more mid-end Samsungs expected this year. The company's phone launching spree in these times of recession and uncertainly seems to show no signs of abating.

The latest devices to come out, or shall I say, expected to come from the Samsung stables are the humbly named M2310 and the 2710. The "M" implying their musical abilities of course. Both devices have design cues borrowed from the now famous M7600 "Beat DJ" and sport dedicated music keys. Looks like this is a perfect phone for those who would like to have some of the functionalities of the Beat DJ, minus its price. As of now, these are just leaked images, and according to folks over at Unwired View,  this one is headed towards Brazil. This, however, does mean, that India too will be on the list very soon.


 





As for the features, here is what we currently know. Starting with the M2710, this one is a slider phone with support for GPRS and EDGE. No 3G in here. Being a music phone, a 3.5-mm jack finds its way in. There is FM radio as well an accelerometer, and a 2mp camera sums things up.


 


 


 


As for the 2310, this is a clamshell phone with support for GPRS/EDGE, sports FM radio and dedicated music buttons. No sign of a camera here though. Bluetooth is, however, present and so is the anti-theft, mobile-tracking software.

Although the phones differ in their looks, both are almost the same, feature-wise, with the 2710 looking to be a slightly better endowed device. We will in due course reveal further details as and when we have them. There is no release date or price related information available yet. Watch this space!

The M2310 clamshell has a camera, you can see the camera lens just above the samsung logo on the front side of the phone. It must be a 1.3 Megapixel camera.
