Series 60 Third and Fifth editions Twitter users rejoice!

While you have been left gaping at the number of high-quality Twitter applications that were available for "hip" OS'es like iPhone and BlackBerry, the good ol' smartphone OS was left in the lurch and still had no sign of a decent application that would make tweeting a great experience on the Series 60 phone.

Say hello to Gravity, the very first great-looking Twitter application for S60 handsets. It's not just a Twitter client, mind you, you can key in your identi.ca account details and access it too. We did take the application for an initial spin and came out pretty impressed. The application includes almost every feature you would probably expect from any self-respecting Twitter client. This includes tweet, reply, DM, follow and unfollow, create favorites, search, and even auto-update.

If you are a Series 60 user, still using a browser using the mobile version of Twitter, I would suggest switching to Gravity. The application, however, is a paid version, but there is a limited time trial version available on their website. So you might want to take a look at it anyway.
