The Game Developers Conference has spiced up the gloomy gap of two weeks. New big games have been announced for the year and teasers of new games were shown throughout the conference. We ve tried to cover what a larger mass would certainly love to know about few of their favorite games, and ours too. Here we go!



OnLive On-Demand Gaming Threat to Consoles
Launch of new OnLive Games on Demand Service solution has made everybody in Game Industry look forward to it as the future of gaming. Existing game console makers already got the shivers since OnLive s model might make them re-consider their game distribution strategy. Interesting nose dive into what future will offer the gamers. 



Bionic Commando [Preview]


Capcom s arcade classic s sequel Bionic Commando from Xbox Live Arcade managed to impress our game reviewer. What will you have to demolish playing as special operative of the government? We don t have the exact plot details but we can expect multiplayer action in 3D.



Max Payne 3 Coming in Winter of 2009
Notorious game makers Rockstar Games has announced that the story of Max Payne will continue with a third installment of the Max Payne series. This time Max will be deadlier and more cynical. Know for the legendary bullet time effects let s wait to see what the new Max Payne 3 has to bedazzle us. 


Need For Speed Shift to Release in September 
Electronic Arts famous racing game Need For Speed will enter into a new genre of race-track gaming which they boast of as simulation racing. Nevertheless this new game will have to face tough competition with Gran Tourismo 5 since race simulation lovers are already going ga-ga over the Prologue of the game. 



EA to Launch The Sims 3, Sans Online DRM 


Once burnt, twice shy. Electronic Arts has decided to drop online game authorization as part of their DRM process for their upcoming open-world title The Sims 3. The publisher has considered the player s ease to play game.  



 


Ubisoft Announces RTS Game RUSE


At the GDC 2009, Ubisoft has announced new RTS game titled RUSE. The game is expected to arrive in the fiscal year of 2009-10. Based on the WWII scene, the power of the game lies in using brain and the tactic of deception. 
 


Sony to Launch Hanuman Game for PS2
Sony has announced first Indian PS2 game Hanuman: Boy Warrior. A story about Indian God of War Hanuman will take one through his growing up part and his journey to free up life forces by defeating evil-doers.


BioShock 2 to Release On All Three Platforms
2K Games has confirmed that BioShock 2 will be released on all three platforms Xbox 360, PS 3 and PC simultaneously. Sad part is that there won t be any Co-op Multiplayer mode. The Big Daddy arrives soon.
 


Carmack Releases Wolfenstein Port for iPhone  
John Carmack has released the open source port of Wolfenstein 3D for iPhone. Now, id Software has finally made entry in the iPhone platform gaming market by offering few of their classic arena-based FPS games through Apple s App Store.
