If spending long hours in front of your laptop is giving you bodyache, here is a solution for your problem.

Hewlett Packard (HP) has launched The HP Adjustable Notebook Stand, and claims that it will provide comfort for notebook users - whether at work or at play.

The company says that this adjustable stand encourages better seating posture by elevating the notebook to a comfortable eye level, and it allows a much wider range of notebook adjustment. It also claims to provide the much-needed support for your arms and wrists when you grapple with the keys at the end of the keyboard while typing.

Additionally, the HP Adjustable Notebook Stand can be used to turn the notebook into a desktop solution supporting up to two displays (notebook display plus one external display or two external displays). In addition, the cable management channel at the back of the stand keeps the desktop clutter-free when connecting the notebook to multiple external devices, such as a printer.

The HP Adjustable Notebook Stand is available in India for Rs. 1,500, plus taxes.

Can this be purchased in the US or is it just for use in India? If not available in US, is there a date that it will be introduced for purchase?
