iPhone OS 3.0 beta SDK is available for developers starting today and
the final version is expected to be publicly available in summer, say
somewhere in June or maybe before that.
Big deal... these are all items that should have been included with incremental upgrades. Maybe they needed a package to make the 3GS appeal to the masses compared to other phones. That's a valid concept, but many of these features are a day late and a dollar short. I
I'm glad that SMS (text messaging) now includes landscape typing mode along with text-forwarding (finally!), and also the ability to delete individual messages in a chat thread.
However, a ‘resend’ button when texting would be nice as well.
uh havent we missed that iphones new sdk will enable better apps and hardware sync possibilities? i think that is very good for the future... i mean the hardware sync features are new and i think that this is wht the future is all abt! and a new way of using cellphones. samsung launches a pico projector phone and everyones gaga... but i think all the customization can be done by a good software and i think thats wht apple has done here... we should definitely appreciate that.
i think i know why there doing this becouse apple got sewed because of "the exploding ipod" now there trying to gain back money with the 10$ for the new ipod upgrade i say this becouse i have a ipod touch 2nd generation
