If you had given up on getting anything done at the Maharashtra RTO (Road Transport Office) without seeking an agent and shelling out that extra cash, you can now tick one grievance off your list.
Maharashtra RTO now provides the facility to procure Learner's driving license through a simple online registration.
For online registration, log on to Mahatranscom.in. Once a candidate has registered, he or she will be provided with an appointment with the desired RTO.
Unfortunately, you cannot print your learner's license out of your inkjet printer just yet. Once the online registration details are fulfilled, all that is to be done is take the print out the form along with photographs of the candidate to the stipulated RTO to procure the Learner's license.
The system has been implemented at all RTOs in Maharashtra since last Friday.
Maharashtra RTO is surely scaling new heights of success with the implementation of an online procedure of providing learner's license; while real-time road rash drivers get away with a meager penalty of Rs. 100 or some more.
