Tablet Notebooks are great for scribbling notes, flipping through images, a learning tool for kids, but most of all -- they are plain fun to use. These notebooks are always going to be more expensive than your regular notebooks mainly due to the touch sensitive screen.
It has been more than a year since we've tested a Tablet Notebook (the last one was HP Pavilion Tablet PC TX1016AU) and today we have the next iteration of their TX series, the TX2, which will replace its predecessor.
Known as the TouchSmart TX2, it features a MultiTouch panel just like the TouchSmart PC's and comes with a swivel screen, which folds into a tablet. If you've read our previous review of the HP tablet Notebook, then you'll notice that not much has changed except for the color and the graphic design. Since it has been more than a year now, let's see if HP has improved upon the heating issues that plagued the previous model. Bundled Accessories
HP sent the notebook in their standard leather carry bag along with the charger and a remote control for media playback. There wasn't any software/backup CD in the bag but HP creates a recovery partition that contains Vista as well as all the drivers and software required.
is there an option of getting it with the 8-cell battery? also will heating continue to be a problem with the higher-end processors? seems to be only one of the handful tablet pcs which are priced 'affordably' for the general public. confused whether to go for this or maybe get a macbook instead.. mite not use the tablet feature a lot... also wat is the gaming performance of this laptop didn't see it in the review.. a good review nonetheless.. tc
This is so great, its going to give us more a time to do every fun we need but, think about opening store in other countries in other countries like Uganda so that we can a access these new tec products or consider the shipment to these countries and let us enjoy the technology. I rate it to be the best product every
Why review a current model along with other old and not in market models? Dell XPS 1530 is not availble now. Why not review Studio XPS 1340 and 1640 which are getting reviewed in every other tech site?
Good review. I have been looking for this TX2 model for quite some time but no dealer seems to have it.
Could you please give me the contact details of some dealer in Mumbai for this ?
